The sugary shimmery pop of `Why Did You Let My Kitten Die?’ & `Teenage Girl Crush’ show they have the knack of writing tunes that stick in your brain, but these are merely an opening into their punkier, spicier moments.
Four attractive women in a band are always going to be subject to testerone fantasies,
but this lot know how to handle a crowd, even stopping a tune in order to admonish a ticking off to over enthusiastic `dancers’, in a such a school marm manner that the offenders almost blush with embarrassment
Even the breaking of a guitar string merely allows more time for the audience to be captivated by their shining presence
