Los Nachos
Big Hands 30/11/00

It wasn't only Madonna who was able to put on a show that displayed the latest in an ever changing list of identities.   Yes, I can exclusively reveal that Los Nachos have undergone a major overhaul of their previously virginal white full length uniform, plus wrap purple around shades
In order to promote their debut LP `Turn It Up (available at Piccadilly records and via the bands web site (see below).  They held an invite only (anyone could come, free entry) bash at the exclusive Big Hands Club (Oxford Rd) they provoked gasps of amazement that quickly turned to rapturous applause as they took it the stage dressed from head to toe IN RED!!!!!!!!
If that wasn't enough, they then proceeded to remove their shades!!! It may have something to do with the fact that the lighting is poor on the stage and they couldn't see their instruments, but it all added to the ambiance  But this was nothing compared to what was to hit the shell shocked crowd. For 30 minutes the 4 piece tore through a blistering set of raw, disjointed, angular sounds, each time building momentum.
Drawing from seemingly old time Rock’n’Roll, liberally littered with keyboard riffs, with an undercurrent of energy & antics on the stage were infectious  A vibrancy & urgency emerged, that culminated in all bands member seemingly taking part in their own mosh pit, with the crowd baying for more.
What next? Green?
