MUSIC IN MANCHESTER

 It's more like a party for kids with adults in attendance

There was no sign of jelly & ice cream but an abundance of lager, bitter & various types of breezer helped to compensate

In the room down stairs, alcohol induced ambition was on display as not necessarily matched by competence but definitely be enthusiasm

A dance floor that could not be seen as Capt Clint Boon plus his co-pilots Andy Wood, Richard Colburn (Belle & Sebastion) & Jamie Holman (Tompaulin) took us on a ride through 4 decades of sonic sounds.  This was just as well for the Mick Jagger look alike who strutted his stuff with a naffnesss quotient that would be off the scale anywhere else but totally in keeping with the spirit here.
