MANCHESTER ROADHOUSE    14/1/00
The Cheshire based 5 piece band that most of the crowd seem to have come for, and they respond with a tight, funked up set that reflects the warm feelings of the punters
Lead singer Nick Toone acts as the focus for the band giving them more stage presence, linking with followers he already knows, whilst axeman Dave keeps his riffs within the overall sound of the bands. No egotistical soloing here. Duncan
As a group they have only been together for approx. 8 months since Alex & Dave met on a bus, but previous experience in other bands has enabled this 5 piece to gel quickly.
Bass player Duncan, baseball cap drawn low, face obscured seemingly getting high on jamming live. Nick With such a diverse range of interests, indie (including working with Jane Weaver), funk, drums’n’bass, etc., for all members of the unit, the set is more diverse than most, perhaps maybe to prove difficult to find a niche to make them stand out from all the other hopefuls around.  Their followers don’t mind though, they are to busy enjoying themselves
